02-02-02, Continued
| These are the pictures taken at Montana de Oro where we met one of the State
Park Rangers who followed us to the end of the road. We waved at him as we
were making our way into the park and he waved back! He followed us to the
end of the road, which we thought perhaps he was going to ticket us for speeding
( which by the way I was not ! ). It turns out that he grew up in Newport
Beach, CA with Jay Jones, columnist for Bimmer Magazine. I have known Jay
for many years so it was a nice surprise to meet one of his long time
friends. He shared some colorful stories of him and Jay growing up with
cars and such. He gave us some maps of the park and was off again to
finish his daily rounds. We then made our way back to Spooner's Cove for
the remainder of the photos, thus ending our gathering. |
